EFT Self-Help: Colds and Anxiety
EFT is the ultimate self-help tool. We don't need any gadgets - we always have our hands with us and there are so many ways to use EFT in our daily life.
I have a dear friend, Nina Frank, with whom I've been exchanging energy healing sessions for 3 years. We spoke recently about her ability to tap away a cold with EFT. I asked her to write about her experience. Here's what Nina said:
I have been using EFT for many years and always find it effective. One of the ways in which I use it practically, is that the moment I experience the first slight symptom of a cold or flu, I start tapping. What I find is that once I start, other symptoms appear, so then I tap those away. So I'll go from an itchy throat, to sneezing, to a runny nose, to a blocked nose, to a sore head, and so on, until everything disappears. This along with tissue salts, works like a charm. If I can't get it to go away altogether, I find that it develops into something really mild which only lasts a day or 2, with really minor discomfort.
Another way I use it often, is that if I'm stressed about something that I think might wake me up in the night, I tap before I go to sleep. I tap on the issue itself, but also on the fear of waking up in the night and having to deal with out-of proportion night thoughts and generally I'll sleep through. Or if I do wake up, I start tapping immediately (often in my imagination if I'm feeling too dopey to actually get my fingers working) before it takes hold, and then I usually fall asleep pretty quickly again.
