EFT Level 1 on 18 July 2010
Oh, what fun we had on this day! And everyone there certainly made a difference of much more than 67 minutes. A magnificent group of 15 people arrived for a day filled with learning, growing, working on our issues, demo's, practice sessions, video clips, theory, laughter, fun and making new friends.

It was our first workshop at a beautiful venue in Rivonia. The Lavender Room was so beautiful, warm and cosy with a lovely fire crackling in the fire place.
Our participants had lots of practice time to use EFT for their own issues. Laurie and Liesel are available to participants for questions and when they feel stuck or don't know 'what to say'. Probably the most asked questions during practice sessions are "I'm stuck" or "I don't know what to say next." We teach our participants that the words must always come from the client - so the very best thing to do when you're stuck, is to "Ask Another Question"!
Our practice sessions give each particpant the chance to "be the client" as well as "be the practitioner". The first practice session is really short - about 10 minutes per side, so everyone can get the feeling of what EFT can do. The next practice session is slightly longer - 15 to 20 minutes per side. And the final practice session of the day is around 30 minutes per side.
It's very important to us to make sure that you get the most out of this day. It's no good to give you only theoretical knowledge. Therefore we structure the day with teaching a little theory, and then giving you the chance to use that piece practically.
A few weeks after every workshop, we schedule a follow-up and closing session. You will have had a few weeks to practice your skills and by this time, its common to have quite a few questions. We like to give you the opportunity at this follow-up, to come and ask those questions. By the end of our Level 1 course, we would love for you have a solid grounding in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the Basics of EFT.
Of course - there're always deeper levels of understanding and knowledge. For those who are ready, Level 2 teaches more advanced skills. It's a course where everything you'll learn, see and do, teaches you "how to be with your client" by giving you the opportunity to "Be the client". Compassion, care, gentleness, kindness, understanding, non-judgement - all these concepts are part of the teaching and learning.
